経営・管理ビザ取得後の落とし穴とは？

会社をつくって、経営・管理ビザをもらったとき、多くの人は「これで安心」と思います。でも実は、ビザを取った後こそ、本当のスタートです。事業がうまく動いていないと、更新のときにビザが不許可になることもあります。
After setting up a company and getting a Business Manager Visa, many people feel relieved. But in reality, this is just the beginning. If your business isn’t running properly, your visa may be denied at the time of renewal.

会社を作っただけでは「実績」にはなりません

入管は、会社が「実際に経営されているか」を見ています。登記しただけ、オフィスを借りただけではダメです。売上があるか、取引先と契約しているか、銀行口座をきちんと使っているかなど、具体的な動きが必要です。
Immigration authorities want to see that your company is truly operating. Just registering your company or renting an office isn’t enough. You need real actions—sales, contracts, and using your business bank account.

「何もしていない1年」は危険です

ビザを取ったあと、何もしないまま1年がたってしまうと、更新時に「活動していない」と判断されるおそれがあります。特に、帳簿がない、売上ゼロ、経費ばかりという状態は要注意です。
If you spend a year doing nothing after getting the visa, immigration may decide you’re not active. Be especially careful if you have no records, no sales, and only expenses.

日々の記録が重要です

領収書、契約書、業務報告、売上レポートなどは、毎月きちんと残しておくことが大切です。これらは、「本当に経営している」という証拠になります。あとからまとめるのではなく、日々記録しておくことがポイントです。
Receipts, contracts, business reports, and sales data should be kept every month. These serve as proof that you’re really running a business. Don’t wait until later—keep daily records.

税金・社会保険も審査対象になります

法人税や消費税の申告・納付、従業員がいれば社会保険の加入も大切です。これらを怠っていると、「経営者としての信頼性がない」と見なされることがあります。小さな会社でも、基本を守ることが大切です。
Filing and paying corporate and consumption taxes—and joining social insurance if you have employees—are also important. If you neglect these, immigration may question your reliability. Even a small business must follow the basics.

「代表だけで現場にいない」は要注意

名前だけ代表で、実際の経営に関わっていないケースも問題になります。たとえば、日本人に運営を任せて、自分は何もしていない場合、入管は「名義貸しでは？」と疑います。自分がちゃんと経営している証拠が必要です。
If you’re only a company representative in name and not involved in management, it’s a problem. For example, if a Japanese person runs everything and you do nothing, immigration may suspect name-lending. You need proof that you’re actively managing.

更新できないと、ビザは終了します

経営・管理ビザは、更新ができなければ強制的に在留資格を失います。「更新のときに不許可」というのは実際に多くあります。だからこそ、「ビザを取った後、何をするか」がとても大事なのです。
If you cannot renew your Business Manager Visa, your status in Japan ends. In fact, many people are denied at renewal. That’s why what you do after getting the visa is extremely important.
